Skellefteå Convention Bureau is a non-profit organization that develops and promotes the city through meetings and events. We support organizations, associations, and companies up until a destination decision is made. All our services are free of charge.

We are also members of SNCVB, where Sweden’s convention bureaus work together on key issues to promote more and better meetings across the country. We assist with:

• Inspiration, advice, and information about venues, accommodations, and transport

• Compiling the formal bid to host an event

• Crafting strong arguments for why the meeting should be held in Skellefteå

• Connecting you with local businesses, the municipality, academia, and government bodies

• Ensuring availability of accommodation and venues

• Planning site visits and study tours

• Providing marketing materials – images, videos, and facts

• Offering initial project management support for local hosts and organizing committees

• Referrals to meeting administration services if needed

• Welcome kits for participants, with tips on restaurants, culture, activities, and local experiences
